We had a 20 ton “drop” of Type 1 aggregate delivered to Tom Baraidh and the team have been hard at work improving the paths that surround Harry Grant’s Bench that overlooks the golf course. This section rarely gets the sun and generally suffers from very muddy ground – resulting in paths getting wider and muddier.
The aggregate will provide a firm base for the paths that should last for many years. It should make an attractive “mud-free” route for walkers which will help reduce some of the scarring.
In two weeks the volunteers have made some great progress – despite the weather!
And what a difference a week makes, to both the weather and the paths!
