At the heart of KCDC is the Community Hydro Scheme, which has successfully distributed over £80,000 to local projects. Additionally, KCDC manages community woodland, coordinates Kingussie footpath work, and provides governance for Cycle Friendly Kingussie (CFK).
We are seeking to welcome local individuals to join our board of directors. Meetings are held about nine times a year in the evenings and typically last 1-2 hours. Right now, we are especially interested in finding someone to serve as the link with CFK. However, if you possess the skills and enthusiasm to contribute to our town in other ways, we would love to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact in your community. If you’re passionate about Kingussie and want to get involved, please don’t hesitate to contact our current Chair, Ian Moffett, ian.moffett@kcdc.co.uk.
You are also welcome to come and observe our next board meeting on the 23rd of October. The AGM will take place on the 4th of December.
Join us in making Kingussie an even better place to live!
